One of Lily's favorite desserts is also the title of a charming song from a classic musical based on a popular novel. If the most recent movie version of that novel had been a musical, the song would have been sung by Meg Ryan. Name that musical!
And Alex- it said *If* it had been a musical. But the most recent movie version of Parfumerie (which, my bad, is a play- not a novel) is "You've Got Mail." Meg Ryan played the character who, in "She Loves Me" sings "Vanilla Ice Cream." Other adaptations include "The Shop Around the Corner," and "In the Good Old Summertime."
